Podcast 83 is a recording of professor Monty Mythen from University College London giving a resident seminar at Karolinska on the topic Early recovery after surgery. Professor Mythen is the editor-in-chief for Perioperative Medicine Journal and editorial member of British Journal of Anesthesia. His own researcher has been mainly about fluid therapy during surgery and critical care, enhanced recovery after surgery, altitude and hypoxia adaptation, nitric oxide, and gatric mucosal tonometry.
